As clients of Elena for the last few years, my daughters and I have nothing but the highest praise for her services. Her warmth and sunny personality are reflected in everything she does for us. From haircuts, to perfect highlights, special occasion styling for bat mitzvahs and weddings and the sleekest blowouts, she never leaves our house without achieving perfection. She is satisfied only when we are. (And with 3 girls this is no small feat.) How great to finally have found someone who cares about our hair as much as we do!

Many people come to New York City for things they can’t get near home…good shopping, top-rated restaurants, Broadway shows and great spas and salons with highly qualified stylists. Me, I live there so it should be convenient for me to partake of all this…and I do, except for that last one.
Of all the places and potential people from which I could chose, I have continued to take the train or drive to Westchester so Elena can continue to do my hair. My friends cannot believe I “go so out of the way” and have made recommendations for me to try their stylists. Although I admire their cuts and highlights, I’m still not dissuaded from choosing Elena. She first did my hair in 2001 when I moved to Eastchester from NJ and needed to find a new stylist, did a wonderful job that very first time and I’ve been her client ever since. She takes pride in her skills and understands how to blend her clients’ requests with her professional judgment as to what might best suit them. The only time Elena did something I didn’t like was when she listened to me as to the color I wanted, or at least thought I wanted. I considered it a lesson learned.
Over the years, I have switched stylists only because either they or I have relocated to where the distance is prohibitive. Needless to say, as I don’t intend to move any time soon, I plan to remain one of Elena’s clients for quite a while.
